Quote# 2243

There's plenty of *some evidence*: Hundreds, thousands, of claims of the supernatural in the world throughout human history; Consciousness; Free will; Concepts; Parsimony; Cosmological argument considerations. No evidence? Wake up and smell the coffee: When are you atheists going to stop ignoring the evidence?

There have also been \"Hundreds, thousands, of claims of\" witches \"in the world throughout human history\" your'e saying that they are all true too? 50,000 elvis fans CAN be wrong.

Heck, those aren't even evidence! They're just concepts. They are no more \"evidence\" for the supernatural than Star Trek is evidence that warp drive is possible!

<<< Hundreds, thousands, of claims of the supernatural in the world throughout human history; >>>

Yet amazingly few now that we have developed the scientific method, because a natural explanation is found for every one of them.

<<< Consciousness >>>

This is equally compatible with atheistic and theistic universes and is therefore not evidence for either.

<<< Free will >>>

Likewise, if it indeed exists. I should note that there are more potential paradoxes with free will in the Christian universe than there are in an atheistic universe.

<<< Concepts >>>

WTF is that supposed to mean?

<<< Parsimony >>>

... which would deny the existence of God on the basis that no observed data requires him to exist.

<<< Cosmological argument considerations. >>>

What caused God?

When you present us with some.

Quantum Mechanic

What evidence?
All I see are claims with no evidence.
I'll stick to quantum mechanics.
It's how transistors work.
Considering where we 'are' that's pretty good evidence.

"Tercel", you are centuries too late. As usual for fundies, you are still living mentally in the middle ages.

The so-called "Proofs" of god like the "cosmological argument" were refuted a long, long time ago, by a guy named Immanuel Kant.

Wake up and smell the coffee: Please arrive in the 21st century.

Hearsay is not evidence.

faulty logic and pseudoscience dont count.

good try though :)

Belief in bullshit is not evidence.

How are these evidence? Please provide a complete theory connecting these things to your farcical sky daddy, publish it in a peer-reviewed science journal (One that does not specialize in "creation science") and then you might have some evidence.

What evidence?
Ignoring your bullshit is easy.

Hundreds, thousands, of claims of the supernatural in the world throughout human history

On the topic of "supernatural":

Consciousness; Free will;

Don't worry: Science is just now investigating this. Neuroscience has made some very interesting progresses in the last years. I expect this to be the next gap that will be closed, and your beloved "supernatural" will become even more irrelevant.

You said you were going to show some evidence. Well go ahead and show it already.

12/7/2012 2:12:04 PM

We'll start listening, the moment your evidence becomes any bit more solid than misinterpretations and hearsay.
