The ACLU has always been the very font of evil, the devil's logic of 'do as you will'. They have never stood for anything worthwhile, it is simply that in the past they directed some of their efforts towards arenas that did have legitimate concerns. But for the very start they have been a pro-communist, anti-religion (or at least Christian religion) organisation. Just one example is how they shriek like a pack of furies whenever something like the Ten Commandments appears on a state court house, but when San Diego used taxpayer monies to construct a statue of Quetzalcoatl for one of their parks, not a whisper from these jackals.
