Please, don't take me as obnoxious or full of myself or anything, but look at it this way... everyone has experiences in their lives, say a child grows up in an abusive home and that somehow leads to him meeting another person from an abusive home that is a christian, then that first child ends up believing. Maybe the child's abusive father or drunk mother or whatever were put here for no reason other than to give their child that bad experience that would eventually come to God.

So God is pretty Machiavellian, if this is his modus operandi. Also, this pretty well negates that whole free will thing, if he can so manipulate our lives to prompt a certain type of outcome.
