Look at that women who was just convicted for killing her children [Andrea Yates, who drowned her kids after thinking Satan would possess them if she didn't]. The excuse they use is the poor little thing was stressed out and over worked. So she did not know what she was doing. She had a post whatever depression, so she should not have to be held accountable. The 'poor little thing' should have cried out to God for help when she found herself in over her head. But instead she went to man for help, and did not find any. Man will let you down, God never will fail us.

Looks like god proved that by letting her kids die. Since he knew that yates would kill her kids and god did nothing to stop it, how did god NOT let them down?

You can try to distance yourself, but we all know she was a fundie!
God definitely let those kids down, sitting by while they were being forced under the water by their own mother. They tried to fight back you know? It is just horrible.

Andrea Yates was a deeply religious Christian, if I remember correctly, and this figured prominently in her decision to murder her children. If not for her religion, perhaps the nature of her mental illness might have been recognized sooner.
