I give up trying to witness to people... Maybe it wasn't put in the best context but i was trying to point something out quite simply - a holy righteous book from Islam's god talking about peeing in someones ear, passing gas, supporting Jihad, beating women, spending paradise having sex with women and young boys etc. You can look for all the Islamic apologetics you want - a holy god would not condone that disgusting behavior.

Yeah, your god would punish you for what your ancestors did, deny you sex on earth as well as heaven, bash babies on rocks, offer young girls as party favors to strangers, kill children for making fun of a bald guy and tell you that the sun can stop in the sky for a while or that the earth can be stopped without everybody on earth getting killed. Boy, those goofy muslims, huh?
Of course not. However, if we were to use those same standards against your god, considering that he tortured and killed his own son, he wouldn't live up to scrutiny, either.
I cant give a citation but the reference to sex with boys is probably correct. As well as 72 virgins, the martyr is also promised 28 Ghilman, young boys. The age isnt specified but we are told "Their faces will shine like the sun". Arab potentates often kept young boys as courtiers and there is at least a strong suggestion they were for sexual purposes. One is said to declare that he had two harems - "One of women for show, and one of boys for use." While officially brutally repressed, a culture that practises polygamy must surely almost inevitably tend to encourage male gay sex (if only illicitly) and girlish looking young boys be especially prized. As is usual with the religious, some will emphatically deny any sexual element to the role of the Ghilman, while the skeptics amongst us are likely to be more cynical.
You're doing good so far...now let's think a little harder...what about a god who drowns every living thing on earth, deliberately hardens Pharaoh's heart so he can kill all the Egyptian firstborn, commands a man to bake bread made out of his own shit, sends bears to maul children to death, and kills a baby because his parents committed adultery?
It does mention in the Koran that young boys will be in heaven. It doesn't say for sex specifically...but you could take it that way. It's chapter 76:19 "And boys of everlasting youth will go about attending them. Looking at them you would think that they were pearls dispersed." Being that the Koran is speaking to men, it's a bit strange that heaven brags about having young servant boys.

from Natalie's link the reference to the 28 Ghilman(and 72 virgins) for martyrs must be in the Hadith. funny, when I attemepted to read the incredibly turgid repetitive koran I thought it repeatedly referred to heaven - the phrase "Maidens will serve us sherbert by cool fountains" occurred repeatedly. Yeah, women can get to Muslim heaven - someone has to dish up the sherbert.
