ROFL!!! No, your argument is that the first egg has to form and then sit there and wait until the girl hits puberty. No no no -- I got that wrong. Your argument is that ALL THE EGGS HER BODY WILL EVER PRODUCE IN HER ENTIRE LIFETIME have to be in some partial state of formation when she's a baby, otherwise she'll never form them.

That's more or less right, actually.

Jeez, didn't you ever have health classes? This is 7th-grade material.

Now I'm starting to see why so many kids are still getting pregnant in high school. Yay abstinence-only sex ed.

Human biology is just a theory! Other options should be taught in school. Anatomy classes should point out that some believe all diseases are caused by an imbalance of humours.

Shame that he doesn't know what he's talking about, when what he's actually saying is correct.

So the biological grandmother of any child that forms from those eggs is the genetic mother. and the mother can make eggs for her fetus, but not for herself.

If I hadn't been already told that, I'd think it would be rather silly to be honest.

@Meh-master: "So the biological grandmother of any child that forms from those eggs is the genetic mother. and the mother can make eggs for her fetus, but not for herself."

No, not at all. The immature ova which form before birth contain the genes of the female foetus carrying them; her genes are a mix of her mother's and her father's, with a sample of half of her chromosomes being present in each of her ova. (To keep it simple I've left out things like mutations, horizontal gene transfer via retroviruses and epigenetics.)
