Network TV has been doing this for quite some time now. I call it the brown tint conspiracy. Network TV shows are tinted in such a way as to make blacks look whiter and to make whites look darker, especially the eyes. A blue-eyed blonde is made to appear to have hazel eys. You can tell because sometimes there will be a single moment when the actor is in the sunlight and you can see their eyes are blue. Some are made to appear brown. Negroe black eyes are made to appear brown. On some shows, like Law and order, everyone's eyes are made to appear brown. Just about everyone on TV now has brown to dark-brown eyes. The white actress on Alias is made to appear to have black eyes. Amazing how they do this. Its all part of the egalitarian craze, I suppose, to make everyone appear the same.

Err... You do know that having blue eyes is a recessive trait, and thus three times rarer than brown eyes, right?
