Quote# 2366

We need to screen airline passengers and be alert and do searches when appropriate but it is overkill when a non-Arab person is not permitted to take one sewing needle aboard a long flight.

But we have an Arab quilter, then everyone take cover!

Darth Wang

Wow, that's some wacky racism

Well, leave out one word and it makes perfect sense ... of course, that's true for many of these quotes.

If they're going to screen people like that then they should also not allow a Fundy aboard with the ability to communicate.

Wait. What?

Wait. What?

White Christian people can't hijack planes! That's just crazy-talk!

Bigots for Jesus award?

And strip searches for all black muslims, they are twice as dangerous!

That is very racist. Next time just sit there and read your bible. Maybe that will help you pass the time.

a mind far far away

RSTDT. It's still sick, but it's on the wrong board.

"Don't worry about them, but inconvenience me, and there will be hell to pay!"

12/11/2008 8:46:35 PM

Well, you have to be careful, lest they knit an Afghan. =3

They've always searched and removed things from people that come off as nuts. You may have experienced this

12/12/2008 2:28:38 AM

Anybody on Rapture Ready, Conservapedia and a few other site recieve their entire mindset through Fundie upbringing. Therefore I think it's fundie as he may not be such a racist with a sense of special rights otherwise

12/12/2008 1:02:37 PM

I don't know whether to laugh or cry. You realize that's racist, right? You realize racism is like, bad, right?

Last I checked, both knitting needles and sewing needles were permitted - and it had been that way since 2005. What happened in 2003?

12/16/2010 2:07:00 PM

Profiling is wrong, m'kay?

12/16/2010 6:02:06 PM

Sewing needle of doom. Totally.

What about Persians doing the mending? Saphardic Jew? Levantine Maronite Christian? Kurd? Algerian? Indian? You and the airline totally cannot tell the difference anyway.

12/17/2010 3:29:40 PM

So, Arab people are not allowed to mend their clothes while traveling abroad?
What kind of terrorism can you do with a sewing needle?

Oh, btw, does Timothy McVeigh ring a bell? A hint: He was a non-Arab...
So is Scott Roeder, who'll be eligible for parole in 2060, perhaps.
What McVeigh and Terry Nichols did is the second deadliest act of terrorism in the US.

People in Pakistan and Indonesia are also Muslims. They do not look "Arabic". I believe Indonesia has the largest Muslim population in the world.

There are "indigenous" Swedes who convert to Islam, ya know. You can't tell a Muslim by his/her skin.

But maybe I'm wrong, you don't equate Arab with Muslim; it's only Arabs, regardless of religion, that you have a phobia against?
