That's a new one and fairly novel, but the very idea of a god of atheism, especially one as creatively named as that (Although Christians get away with just "God"), should, as you fundies say it, "give you pause".

It doesn't make a difference in my life if anyone, in my family or out of it, believes or doesn't believe, as long as they don't start trying to change laws or the school curriculum to reflect "god's will." My big concern in the posed case would be that my child might be drawn to Christianity out of the fear of hell. That is an incredibly stupid reason to believe in anything.

So if it was hell that my daughters were afraid of, I would address that with them, using all the counter for Pasqel's Wager that I know (and there are lots of them). As I have spent many years doing my best to earn my daughters' respect, I would hope they would listen to me and take what I say on the matter seriously.

Atheos? I'm totally gonna steal that for one of my stories. "Atheos, ironic god of atheists. a trickster god who thrives on nonbelief, and likes to give rather obvious signs of his existence to his (non)believers, just to troll them." Okay, it needs some work, but it's an interesting premise...

I would rather my children were not Christian, but I feel it is a personal choice that they will be perfectly allowed to make for themselves. I don't believe in forcing religon on children so I wont.

Religious Education is compulsory in British schools so they will learn about religion there and that can only be a good thing in my opinion. I want open minded kids who know their options and make their own decisions.

I'm not having children so I can avoid telling them they're delusional if they take up a religion.

I would only be concerned that my child was happy or at least content with his/her life. If christianity makes them happy then go for it.
