So those who oppose Cheney's Folly are automatically ultra-liberals or terrorists? No real GI would ever question the ethics?
Oh. Well, I avoid Faux Spews, I guess that explains my ignorance here.

Any sane, intelligent person opposes the fraudulent war in Iraq.
That leaves people who voted for Dubya in the last election supporting it.

I spent the opening phase of Operation Iraqi Liberation out in the Persian Gulf, about one mile behind USS Constellation. And, if I can call myself a vet of the 'war' (REMF that I am), I opposed it before it started as a sideshow to the real enemy (Osama Bin Forgotten)... since then, I've found out it was started on lies and wishful thinking.

It's perfectly possible (but no fun) to serve in the military and be loyal to your country, but to believe that the government's being bloody stupid and to make your opinion heard through the proper channels. Indeed, were you to feel unswerving loyalty without exercising your own judgement, you'd be the kind of dangerous minion that makes war crimes that much easier to commit.

I don't get how this is fundie. A bit paranoid, perhaps, but not fundie.
I'm concerned that people are just going through the Public Administration clicking \"APPROVE\" on every quote. Let's be a bit more discriminating, folks, or we will be up to our eyebrows in marginal quotes. We should only approve those quotes which are ridiculous, hateful, monumentally self-righetous or otherwise truly notably fundie. If we just post everything even moderately fundie, we will drown in a sea of marginal quotes and the site will weaken beyond redemption.

Yeah, I thought that too, after I submitted it. Had I not seen it on rapture-ready, I doubt I would have even submitted it.

“Dissent is the highest form of patriotism.”
Dissent is the willingness to put yourself on the line against a much more powerful foe to do what you believe to be right.

Oh fuck off. You're fapping at the thought of a needless war over here because you're safe. You don't have to sleep worrying all the while about your safety. You don't have to worry about being sent back home in a body bag. You don't have to worry about the fact that anyone...ANYONE they see on a patrol could well kill them. You don't have to slog through a war with no real justification anymore, and was started on a pretty shaky reason to begin with. And you have the nerve to call the soldiers on the front lines that are opposed to this frauds? You make me sick.

Congratulations to everyone who has managed to comment on this post.
I can't make any sense of it whatsoever.
Sign up where? Why a common name? Why should someone with a common name be called Ramsey Clark? Who is Ramsey Clark? Isn't that two surnames? Is it common for American vets to have two surnames? Why would anyone claim to be a vet if they weren't, given the risk that someone will call your bluff by expecting you to treat their sick cat?
