The first one is more or less understandable. Israel is out of the issue(as much as any other nation). Apart from that, it´s the punctuation what I find fundy, not the occurrence, actually.
Oh, so you know better than Jesus now when the Rapture will be? You've got some direct link to your god that circumvents the very thing your god set up to connect to him? Wow, you're either very powerful or incredibly arrogant. In the first case, why are you waiting for the Rapture? In the second case, you're not going in the Rapture even if it does come. Guess that means YOU LOSE.

Rapture me up, Scotty!
Pretty convenient that, according to your logic, none of this will matter before the piper needs to be paid. Do you think Jesus would want the US to spend like a drunken sailor on shore leave?
Aside from the obvious comments I could make here--
I seriously think that a lot of this "The End Is Near" stuff comes not from the Bible but from young people who fear becoming old and old people who fear death. So much simpler if Christ comes back and whisks you away. That way you never have to think for yourself, you never have to watch your loved ones grow old and die, you never have to trudge through the difficulties of life.
Well, it would have been simpler for our great-grandparents, our grandparents, or our parents, but it didn't happen for them and there are plenty of graves out there with the names of people who thought they'd be raptured before they got old. So where is the bloody sense in living like that? The Bible says no one shall know the hour, so what makes YOU so frickin' special, Kyle?
That's a terribly foolish way of looking at the world. "Live every day as if it were your last" is not such a bad philosophy, but when you throw in the fatalistic sense that so many fundies seem to have, it turns into something far more sinister and potentially damaging.
As best I can tell, social security, gay marriage, and taxes and spending are already issues.
How is Israel policy different from foreign relations?
How is abortion different from health care?
If you're so sure you'll be ruptured before gay marriage becomes an issue, why don't you and your ilk shut the fuck up about it?
PS. Can I have your social security, seeing as how you'll be sitting on a cloud strumming your harp and won't need it?
At least Kyle included "environment." Plenty of fundies wouldn't.
You are assuming that by "Environment", he means he wants a candidate that'll protect and preserve the environment.
More likely, he wants a candidate that takes James Watt's approach to environmentalism.
Hey, that gives me an idea.
We should encourage all 'rapture ready' youth of America to commit to sexual abstinence until the rapture. We could even come up with a nifty slogan, like "Don't come till Jesus does!"
I hope it really catches on.
Well, let's see: gay marriage is already happening, so I guess we missed that mark.
Social Security will start in default between 2012 and 2040. So I guess the idiot still has a lot longer to run his mouth.

Sporfle FTW!
I think it's kinda funny how "enviroment" is always one of the last 3 or 4 on almost all their list. Shouldn't taking care of the planet I gave you be one of you're top priorites?
Also, the last three are already issues.
Confused?
So were we! You can find all of this, and more, on Fundies Say the Darndest Things!
