There are definitely Buddhist fundies, espcially in Asia. They will make all sorts of b/s claims like chanting certain mantras will guarantee you enlightenment, or that poverty is what the Buddha would want (this is used to justify mistreating the poor in some countries.) It's very sad. The Dalai Lama has also said he believes homosexuality is wrong, he is just more tolerant of it from a legal standpoint than your average fundie.
