Quote# 24589

{after a quote-mining fest}

The difference between my quotes and the rest of you motley bunch is that I quote Jesus christ, God and isaac newton. You guys quote lesser beings.

I win again methinks.

It's not who you quote, dear, it's how relevant the quotes are.

Again, scientists are free to believe anything they want, just like any other person. Newton spent a lot of time investigating the occult, for example, and we don't remember him for that. We remember him for the stuff that's actually, y'know, testable and scientific, not his personal beliefs.

The father, the son and the Isaac Newton, amen.

Reminds me of this asshole I had the misfortune of knowing who would try and win any argument about politics by loudly quoting Marx. Always incorrectly and out of context too.
So if you quote someone smart that makes you smart too?

You don´t quote God, you quote a book which they said it´s inspired by God. And those lesser beings permitted the very use of computer you're righting with. Learn a little more, among other things to capitalise the name of Sir Isaac Newton.
