Quote# 24595

According to some experts a pattern is emerging reminiscent of Jewish persecution in post war Germany. "Isolation of, and discrimination against Christians is growing almost geometrically" says Don McAlvany in The Midnight Herald. "This is the way it started in Germany against the Jews. As they became more isolated and marginalized by the Nazi propaganda machine, as popular hatred and prejudice against the Jews increased among the German people, wholesale persecution followed. Could this be where the growing anti-Christian consensus in America is taking us?"

Yeah. All Christians are required by law to put a fish symbol on their cars.

growing anti-Christian consensus

Give me a break.

I'd like to see you prove that Jews were once the undisputed rulers of German society the way Christians control the US now, and that they lost that position of power.

It didn't happen. Jews were persecuted in Europe for centuries. Germany was nothing new.

What a persecuted minority.
What an imbecile.

5/3/2007 2:12:18 AM

Oh no he didn't.

Don McAlvany in The Midnight Herald

Now that's what I call an unbiased expert!
</sarcasm that I'm even ashamed to draw attention to the fact of, since it should be so painfully obvious it could disembowel an elephant from seventy yards>

I have a fish symbol on my car.
It says \"SCUBA\" and has a tank on it's back.

Comparing their situation to that of the Jews in Nazi Germany? That's... special.

Wet Walnuts

Read the entire article--it is so biased and full of hyperbole, you will have trouble believing the author is serious.

5/3/2007 3:08:50 AM

Yeah, that 80% of the population better watch themselves.

Norb Bippus

WHAT? Oh your fucking god... you are comparing the small, relatively unorganized attempt to restrict the preferential treatment that christrians have been taking advantage of to the wholesale dehuminization and slaughter of the jews in (predominately christian) nazi Germany? Are you out of your damn mind?

According to some experts

Oh great, this is bound to be accurate with such a mind-easing statement.

Isolation of, and discrimination against Christians is growing almost geometrically

You mean, 'Horizontally', because this post is one lie after another.

5/3/2007 6:51:29 AM

Oh noes!

The majority is being persecuted by the minority!

5/3/2007 6:55:29 AM

So how does 85% of the population become marginalized and isolated?

5/3/2007 10:29:26 AM

The \"Midnight Herald\". Is that gay slang for something?

5/3/2007 10:50:56 AM

One can only hope.

Isolation?, giving out Bibles in hotels is isolation?, televangelists and religious publications growing and they´re isolating you?, which alternative bizarro universe are you living in?

Some experts in what?, can you quote sources?

Creating imaginary conspiracies to explain away your own lack of self-esteem is not the right approach.

I must know how does something grow \"geometrically\". Did the movement start out as a triangle and move up to a hexagon? But then this just proves that religion is the lack of knowledge

5/4/2007 7:58:52 PM

If the US is anti-Christian, I'm the Pope.

5/5/2007 12:43:14 AM

I believe a is in order.

Old Viking

Sometimes I feel real bad for oppressing 85% of the population.

5/5/2007 2:31:37 AM

@Ansain: A geometrical progression is a series of numbers that grows exponentially. Geometrical and exponential growth are synonims.
