So you are a scholar of greek, hebrew and latin, and have studied the bible in it's original writings? Monks and nuns, who devote their entire lives to religion and bible studies, don't profess to understand scripture.

People did not live longer 6000 years ago, they lived much shorter than today, as their lives where much harder and they did not have the same access to medical care that we have now. The average lifespan was probably around 30 years. And women who had lots of babies and started to give birth early in life lived even shorter.
