Quote# 24816

You’ve surely heard about the political bogeymen “Big Oil” and “Big Tobacco,” but when it comes to your freedom to choose the foods you eat, there’s no special interest more powerful than “Big Tofu.”

From attacks on movie theater popcorn to fast food burgers, Big Tofu wants to keep you from dining on steak, French fries, soda and anything else it deems bad for you. The top priority: protect you from yourself by imposing its vegan-leaning, beans-and-rice, “if-it-tastes-good-it-must-be-bad-for-you” views on what constitutes a proper diet.

No one's stopping you from becoming a morbidly obese eatbeast, it's not like they're holding a gun to your head and forcing you to eat vegan foods.

For fuck's sake.

Yeah, and then what? Is this a "if you've got them by the stomach, their hearts and minds will follow" sort of thing?

Seriously, though, "Big tofu" is one of the most hilarious conspiracy memes I've seen in awhile.

Poe, I'm pretty sure conspiracy types would eat tofu.

Really? Veganism may not be my thing, but I can not see it being a special interest. Why? Because there is no pressure.
Also, you should have named it Big Broccoli. Would have brought in a lot of kid supporters.

Popcorn and fast food burgers both taste like sauce slathered shit. All the delicious flavor of a mummified dog turd, none of the vitamins.
