First you claim that women have a financial interest in getting divorced, and then you claim that it's desire and not reason that makes them want to get divorced. A financial interest would be a \"reasonable\" reason to get divorced.

Actually, my mother had to pay my dad child support. Didn't do a great job, but I blame the alcoholism (why she didn't get us in the first place). So, your point fails.

Actually, their main points are correct.

Divorce courts favor women over men. Women almost always get the kids, even if the father wants them, too. And it's nearly always women who get alimony.
