Knowledge is evil. Knowledge led to the atomic bomb, remember?

Wow, I can't believe I said this back then. *shakes head at myself* Yes, I was deluded.
Congratulations, you have gained self-knowledge!
;-)
Knowledge could also give us what we need to maintain a sustainable community in Phoenix, AZ, not far from where the ancient Anasazi deforested themselves out of a rather large (for the time) city.
Unfortunately, there's enough pinheads who think that environmentalism is the devil that such an outcome is rather doubtful.

I don't know whether yu still have your faith or not. But I don't believe that if there is a god, he or she would expect us not to use our minds. You have a right and obligation to learn, understnd, and use all you can, every day.
Knowledge of itself is neither good nor evil. The way we use it is.
@ Safaraz:
Yes, it's Allard's Law. It states that as a discussion (online or otherwise) dealing with the beneficences and maleficences of science, reason, technology, etc. grows longer, the probability of the mention of atomic weaponry or Hiroshima approaches 1.
It applies here for sure. There are no morals in hammers, and there are no morals in science or knowledge. There is only reason in the people who try to use these tools.
dont forget landmines, napalm, defoliants, mustard gas, ricin, tanks , machine guns, and bobby pins.
also radio, tv, music recording (ok not such a good idea), internet, doctors and donuts.
And knowing that fact is evil!
Knowing that you told us that knowing things is evil, is evil!
Everything is evil!
EEEEEEVVVVVVIIIIILLLLLLLLLLLLLLLL!!!!!!!
and spears, clubs, bows, guns, gunpowder, napalm, mustard gas and ricin.

so try medicine, surgury, making clothes, shoes, antibiotics, 1001 uses for a peanut (George washington carver) , ice cream bars, milk chocolate and reeces pieces.
dunno which side to put porn and the interwebs ;-)
^Maybe you oughta start using it, Quantum Mechanic. Rather than just clicking on random quotes and posting trite drivel, maybe you should read through the threads first. For instance, had you done that this time, you'd realize that you now look like an idiot.
Confused?
So were we! You can find all of this, and more, on Fundies Say the Darndest Things!
