Well, maybe it would be, if you had any ammunition. All Creationism has is blanks -- lots of noise, but no substance.

The reason he makes such a bald assertion without making good on it is that he thinks he already has.
In his mind, he has so thoroughly and soundly refuted evolution and left it in ruin, that it's obvious to everyone except a few hangers-on that are desperate to cling to their faith.
When asked to cite this, he will link to an argument which he clearly lost, and will interpret corrections as praise of his deductive skills.
This has been the mind of a fundie.
