You state what you've stated because you've been brainwashed by fundemental religious parents and churches.

And I suppose you think that the entire planet's worth of evolutionary biologists and scientists in related disciplines, in every country and of every religion worldwide, is similarly \"indoctrinated\" to accept that the evidence supports evolution, too?
Guess what: They are \"indoctrinated\" (i.e., trained and educated) to think of ANY POSSIBLE WAY that the evidence might be interpreted that DOES NOT fit with a prevailing theory in order to make sure that the theory is constantly tested. Evolutionary theory is one of the most rigorously tested theories ever made, and so far it has withstood every test, every time.
That's the kind of \"indoctrination\" we could use more of, in my opinion.

The same can be said for christianity.

Yeah maybe, only one way to be sure. Let's sit down together with a few beers one night and go through all the evidence. It'll be fun.

And you say what you say because you've been told by religious leaders that, in spite of immense, and growing evidence to the contrary, Genesis has to be a literal account of the beginning of time.

I have also seen evidence with my two eyes.

"the evidence supports evolution"
That's because it does, scooter.

"Okay, Timmy, here's the "Of the Origin of Species by means of Natural Selection" for babies picture book! Happy second birthday, son!"
Cite Mendel's theory of Genetics or no supper for you, mister!"
"Now, Timmy, I know it's early Sunday morning, but we HAVE to go to observe selective pressures on pepper moths by surveying the entire forest. Or do you want to be FORGOTTEN after you die!?"
"Timmy my boy, it's about time you helped your old man spread the word of Darwin. There are still unenlightened Haeckelists and Lamarckites out there!!"
YEAHHHH, WE'RE the indoctrinated ones.
8/3/2011 12:03:58 AM
The evidence does support evolution, no matter how much you try and dodge that little bullet. So, you lose.
8/3/2011 2:11:46 AM
Of course! Looking at overwhelming evidence for something and coming to a conclusion based on it is being indoctrinated, but believing an anceient book without question isn't...
5/20/2012 10:43:48 AM
The theory of evolution has created tangible benefits for humanity in a variety of fields. Creationism has produced nothing. That's not indoctrination. That is fact.

While you're feeling so wise:
Define the "secular systems" in your prodominately Christian country.
This grand conspiracy of a controlling organization against Christianity exists only in those indoctrinated in Fundamentalist Christianity. It can't even be found in the more populaced moderate Christianity, it's a Bible-Belt mania.
If I were a Southerner I'd be more worried about what Darth Cheney Inc and his Perrys and Romneys have planned for all y'all.
