In my geology classes at Ohio State I learned two apparently contradictory "facts". First, that the entire earth was at one time covered with water. Secondly, that this was caused by a lot of local floods, but certainly not a world-wide flood. This begs the question, "Why not one great flood?"

I just noticed which church this dumbass works at. Let me tell you about Fairfield Christian Church. At one point, it was a normal, non-denominational church. Then it started growing. And growing. And controlling its members more and more. Now it houses a K-12 school, its own basketball teams, bought a nearby motel and attempted to refuse to allow alcohol at functions being held at the motel, and they're now trying to buy property from the Ohio Department of Transportation to expand the church (which already looks like a giant warehouse) even further. The school has had allegations of physical abuse (such as whipping a 15-year-old boy for growing a mustache). A friend of mine was told he wasn't allowed to return because they suspected he was gay. Every Halloween, the church stages a "haunted house" called Hell Escape that attempts to scare people into attending the church, at the price of 6 bucks a head for admission to the haunted house. They publish a newsletter posing as the puppet organization "Fairfield Family Association" where they tell their members to boycott certain tv shows and which candidates to vote for.
These people are some of the greediest, foulest people I've met. The church is on a never-ending quest to make as much money as possible, and have maximum control of its members. As if that's not enough, the church also tries to control city council and own as much property as they can. It's known as the "cult church" in Lancaster, and it's certainly earned the title.
