My family finally found out the status of Dr. Hovind. He’s in solitary confinement and the government is trying to put him in prison overseas. There is only one reason for this, THEY WANT HIM DEAD! I’m done being quiet, I’m ready to stand with him and the God he serves!!!!!!!!

They are actually bothering to do all that to protect him from the rest of the prisoners, who are not Sisters of Mercy nuns, and he, who, after all, IT'S ALL ABOUT TAXES. Again, if they want him dead, is a funny way to express it.

Hovind is not in solitary confinement. He was in protective guard for a short time due to threats made against him by other inmates, but these were quickly revealed to be bogus and he was released into the general population a few days after arriving at the institution. The goverment can not move him or any other US citizen prisoner overseas. No one wants him dead. He is in prison for defrauding the government out of more than 800,000 dollars in legitimately owed taxes. That's it. There's nothing personal about it.

As has been pointed out already, he's not in solitary confinement. Personally I think he should be for his own protection before someone shivs him because of his incessant babbling stupidity but that's another topic.

WTF is up with the fundie double standard? If an atheist went to jail for tax evasion, they'd never stop crowing about how this forever proves that atheists are immoral scum. But instead, Hovind goes to jail for the same thing and it's a great conspiracy to make him a martyr!
I know why he's really in prison. Either he really thinks he is better than the rest of us and doesn't have to pay his taxes, or he really really likes it in the ass and this is the only way he can get some without being pulled over by vice for picking up a rent boy at 4 in the morning.
Hovind is a tax cheat. He merits zero sympathy. Why you pick HIM as your messiah is completely beyond me.
