Oh one more thing before i go, i just wanted to let you know any arguments about all this stuff is really pointless, the real issue is this. Who is Jesus, He is either the Son of God the savior of the world, or he is insane, or worse the most evil person who ever lived. Those are your options, prove He isnt the Son of God, and there are no other arguments needed against Christianity. But please do it with an open mind.

It's very easy, because it's a matter of faith. Either you believe it or not, but don't try to use logic here. What is the son of God, anyway, if you yourself don't know what God is like?. Could it be that you wouldn't regard Jesus in such a high place if he was a mere mortal?, you know, a man who asked to love thy neighbour, to give out your wealth to the poor, not to judge the others.................?
Oh one more thing before i go, i just wanted to let you know any arguments about all this stuff is really pointless, the real issue is this. Who is Athena, she is either the daughter of Zeus the goddess of wisdom, or she is insane, or worse the most evil person who ever lived. Those are your options, prove she isnt the daughter of Zeus, and there are no other arguments needed against the worship of Athena. But please do it with an open mind.
He doesn't need to be the most evil person who ever lived. He could be a radical hippie who had a lot of good stuff to say. Son of God doesn't have to literally mean the son of God - in the OT, Israel is refered to as the Son of God, and several people were Sons of God as well. This was a position of honor and intimacy - not of actual biological parentage.

I think not.
Well, by a certain fundie logic, if Jesus was not God then he was evil. The Jesus described in the Gospels preaches peace, charity, forgiveness, communalism, voluntary poverty...if he's not God, he's just a wandering mutualist-anarchist and thus evil.
Jesus could also be a guy mentioned in an old book who, whether or not he ever actually lived, had some really good ideas about how to live with dignity and love other people. If his teachings are good stuff, why does it matter whether or not he actually existed, much less whether or not he was the Son of God?
...Oh, right, because then you'd have to give up your holier-than-thou wars and actually follow those teachings. And God(TM) knows we can't have that .
He could have been a person teaching people to be nice to others, to respect their surroundings, etc.
I mean, if you believe in the Fundie Bible, and believe in God, technically we're all his children. He made us from dirt (supposedly), or... ribs, depending... and "all life is holy!!!1!!!11" (or at least they say so with abortion...) So would it matter whether Jesus was the biological son of God or not? He's still to be respected for his teachings alone; if you respect a person for his parentage, then that only lasts as long as you respect the parents for.
And, darling, don't forget: to believe Jesus was the savior of the world, you first have to follow his teachings. ;)
Well, when the Trilemma fails, this idiot can always fall back on Pascal's wager, and then simply say he told the truth, and nobody listened.
That's about where these discussions usually go.

WTF? If he isn't the son of god, then he's insane or the most evil person who ever lived? How does that make him the most evil person who ever lived? Because he tried to teach love and understanding? Seriously, WTF?
So, if he wasn't the Son of God, he's automatically the most evil person who ever lived?
What does that make every other person in the world that isn't the Son of God?
@Robbie - the usual argument goes that if he wasn't the son of God he falsely claimed to be, and that made him evil.
No consideration is ever given to the idea that maybe the gospel writers weren't actually following him around taking notes and it's those accounts that contain errors.
Confused?
