\"I see nothing wrong with science when it does not contradict the Bible, but when it does, then I do have a problem and know that there is an error somewhere, whether by error or as to deceive.\"
I see nothing wrong with the Bible when it does not contradict science, history and good ethics.
\"The Bible is old...\"
Old, and full of errors and bad ethics. It is largely irrelevant to today's society.
\"but it is still true and infallible, science is not.\"
The Bible is true and infallible? Talking sanke, virgin birth, flying rolls which burn the houses of thieves, resurrection, etc.?

Biblenuggetlady, you are correct. You do have a problem. You would accept the ancient writings of a religious group over evidence and logic.
5/28/2007 3:50:14 PM
There is an error somewhere indeed.
5/28/2007 4:50:03 PM
Tell me about that striped and spotted goat experiment thing again.
5/28/2007 5:13:34 PM
The bible is infallible? I can refute that with one bible quote.
Then the LORD said to Moses, \"Write this on a scroll as something to be remembered and make sure that Joshua hears it, because I will completely blot out the memory of Amalek from under heaven.\"
Considering the fact that he hasn't been forgotten, and is part of the most often sold/stolen book on the planet, we can conclude that the bible was wrong.
5/28/2007 5:22:34 PM
I see nothing wrong with the Bible as a religious book of stories, like hundreds of other books of many various religions. I do have a problem with it being used as a history or science book, as I do with any of those other books of other religions.
5/28/2007 5:51:41 PM
Science is relieved to learn that it occasionally merits your approval.
5/28/2007 7:05:09 PM
Following your logic, do you think the very computer you're using it's invalid?, why do you use antibiotics and cars if you think so of science and, when asked if whales are fishes and if snakes can speak or men can live 900 years you roll up your eyes?
5/28/2007 7:24:15 PM
The bible does not mention antibiotics or antivirals if you get sick, it does mention rubbing yourself with oil and getting prayed over by the elders at your place of worship.
Which would you do if you got sick? If it is the latter, you are an idiot.
The bible is about as true and infallible as that chimp you have for a president.
5/28/2007 10:05:43 PM
No the error is with the Bible.
5/28/2007 10:52:38 PM
So close and yet so far!
5/29/2007 8:00:28 AM
I have a new catch phrase: \"Bible Nuggets!\"
5/29/2007 12:07:36 PM
... which explains the birth of ID research.
Not to worry, I'll fix this:
\"I see nothing wrong with the Bible when it does not contradict science, but when it does, then I do have a problem and know that there is an error somewhere, whether by error or as to deceive. Science not true or infallible...but it is still the best we've got, the Bible is not.\"
5/29/2007 12:58:44 PM
Got the first half right...
5/29/2007 3:00:34 PM
Denial of reality is not something to be proud of, Bible Nugget Lady. (hehe, \"bible nuggets.\")
5/29/2007 4:08:08 PM
So many of these \"Christian\" fundies don't worship God- they worship the Bible. Can you say \"idolatry\"? :D
5/30/2007 12:33:48 AM
Bible nuggets are crispy and good when dipped in honey mustard sauce.
11/12/2007 11:31:08 PM
Is she seriously THAT stupid??? I'm a Christian and even I think that is ridiculous...my god, these idiots make all Christians look like morons.
11/26/2008 5:57:01 AM
All too easy. Bats are not birds (Bible says they are) and insects have 6 legs (bible says 4). There are just so many errors in it, I could be here all night listing them.
4/2/2009 4:48:16 AM
Where the Bible and reality differ, reality is obviously wrong.
What a load.
3/25/2011 12:57:37 PM
The Bible isn't even infallible in its first two chapters.
Science is a million times more infallible than that stupid book.
