\"As for the wars between the Native Americans and the settlers: The settlers wanted to live in peace. Aside from that, this war was not a religious war.\"
Ever hear of the Trail of Tears? Yea, that was the white man's 'peaceful' solution to the so-called 'savages.'
\"On the other hand, non-Christians such as Catholics and Muslims would have any worship, other than their own, shut down and all people worshiping their false religions.\"
Since Catholics worship Christ, that makes them *gasp!* Christian! But you're such an elitist bastard that you'll never understand that.
The rest of the statement is just as wrong; I know plenty of Catholics and Muslims who prefer religious diversity.

Hate to tell you this Randy, but the only thing the Southern Baptist and Anabaptist have in common is a belief in adult baptism. The Anabaptist are now Mennonites and Quakers. They are TOTALLY opposed to involvement in war or government, unlike YOUR Southern Baptist who sound more like a hawkish political party in their conventions than a religious denomination. You cannot change the fact for all your lies and blow-harded propaganda that the Catholics are Christians(maybe the idiots on your web-site are too stupid to know the definition of Christianity, but normal people have dictionaries and encyclopedia). The ONLY true requirement for being a Christian is accepting Christ as your Saviour. Rapture and born-again are simply dogma of certain Christian sects and are NOT defining Christian tenets. Go blow your fundie smoke up someone else's ass.

But ... oh, wait, it's Bro. Randy. I'll save my breath.
5/30/2007 4:40:08 PM
Shush Ummu we need not give him ideas
5/30/2007 6:03:42 PM
Thanks you beat me to that.

Catholics have been slaughtering Protestants, and Protestants have been slaughtering Catholics since the 16th Century. The issue is always which side is best loved by their imaginary friend.
Does anyone recall the last time opposing atheist armies took to the field to determine which side had the better disbelievers?
I love the \"settlers wanted to live in peace\" statement. The settlers here did exactly what Christian missionaries and settlers have done to indigenous peoples around the world: they patronized the natives, stole their land, destroyed their traditions, substituted their own superstitions for those created by the natives, and killed without compunction whenever it was convenient to do so.
No society was ever improved in any manner by the introduction of Christianity.

You have no idea wtf you're talking about, do you?
5/30/2007 8:58:13 PM
BR, as an American Indian, I would have to say, GO FUCK YOURSELF!!!
On a side note, why do none of the T4C links work?
5/30/2007 9:05:16 PM
I think I'll go \"live in peace\" in Bro. Randy's living room. If a fight breaks out, it's obviously his fault.
5/30/2007 9:08:13 PM
Can't be him. That's not NEARLY fat enough
5/31/2007 12:14:13 AM
Blasphemy he said it again! Iehovah! Iehovah! Iehovah! Iehovah! Iehovah! Iehovah!

\"The roman church is also responsible for the massacre of the Anabaptists in numerous locations - the Anabaptists would not convert to catholicism and would not stop distributing the Word of God.\"
And insofar as this is true, the Catholics got away with it largely because the governments were also Catholic. So remind me again why \"separation of church and state\" is a bad thing?
5/31/2007 12:28:02 AM
\"...non-Christians such as Catholics...\"
And right on, flipper. I have tremendous respect for people with Anabaptist roots, such as Mennonites, Quakers...even the Amish, although they can be pretty messed up themselves. Now Southern Baptists on the other hand...ugh. Ever since the uber-conservative takeover of that denomination, they've been moving further and further from the actual gospel of Christ in favor of legalism, misogyny, homophobia...you name it.
5/31/2007 1:35:48 AM
Wow, a combination of revisionist history and Lying for Jesus...there should be some kind of new award for this.
5/31/2007 3:11:01 AM
Did you know that baptists are not real christians? It's a fact! After the inquisitions, the Catholic priests tried to hide from answering for their deeds. They started calling themselves baptists, after their leader Adolf Baptista. This is where the start of the baptist church came from. Feel free to make up your own story. Say it enough, and it will become a fact.
5/31/2007 3:44:56 AM
You fit right in.
5/31/2007 3:59:14 AM
Uh, is Teens-4-Christ not working for anyone else? It's crashing Firefox for me. X.X
5/31/2007 11:58:07 AM
I'm curious if Bro. Randy's webmasters have figured out a way to block requests coming from fstdt.
5/31/2007 12:05:42 PM
I have a privacy module on my home computer (privoxy), so I've been fine. At the school, I get 403'd every time I try to go in there. I do think it's an active attempt to suppress us.
5/31/2007 12:20:20 PM
Funny, he used to be happy that \"non-believers\" were coming to his site.
5/31/2007 12:33:21 PM
Fundie recasting history award?
5/31/2007 3:11:47 PM
I do believe the Randster knows sweet rag-all about the Anabaptists, and if he ever learns anything about them, he ain't gonna like them at all.
5/31/2007 6:48:15 PM
Stupid is as stupid does.
7/16/2007 1:53:55 PM
And if we just change hats -- like so -- we're no longer the same organization that killed all those people. Just like when we change presidents next year, we'll no longer be the same country many accuse of a needless war.
Not that I necessarily oppose it myself. I know not enough of the truth behind it, and don't believe either party's lies.
