Hinduism, buddhist and such are superstitious junk. Designed out of fear and ignorance.

What's the belief that a head demon is trying to trick you, or that evil spirits hang around waiting for a chance to take over your body, or that calling on a particular deity will save you from demons?
There's nothing in Buddhism that comes close to that level of ignorant superstition.
It's interesting that we all seem to be able to spot the flaws in everyone else's beliefs while firmly advocating our own.
As a species, I think we may be insane.
Yeah, I could have just said pot meet kettle, but I felt momentarily pompous.
Hinduism is possibly a survival of the ancient Indo-European religion, and might be distantly related to the ancient Greek religion (though only very vaguely). A lot of it also has to do with an early law code that, among other things, put the caste system into place.
Buddhism is essentially Hinduism with everything except the cosmology removed and an emphasis on social justice and enlightenment. Of the world's major religions, Buddhism is by far the least looney, with liberal Judaism as a distant second.
Fear and ignorance? Yeah, about that...

I agree, but so is every other religion that you didn't mention.
It seems you failed to spot the plank in your eye, but saw the speck in your neighbor's eye.
Or, as your beloved King James Bible says: "And why beholdest thou the mote that is in thy brother's eye, but considerest not the beam that is in thine own eye?"
Buddhism has very little superstition, to my knowledge. It's mostly "what you do to others will come back to you eventually". If you are kind and generous, others will be kind and generous to you. If you are supercilious and and snooty towards others, you will be looked down up on and mocked.
Hey, what do you know, it's working already.

Every irony meter in the past, present & future has surpassed the Large Hadron Collider in it's goal to replicate the period just after the Big Bang, and is proceeding to replicate the Big Crunch.
All motivation, including all superstition, and all delusion can be ultimately attributed to fear of something or some kind. Try it if you don't believe me.
Example: eating - fear of death and/or pain.
"Buddhist" is designed out of fear and ignorance?
ROFL...
Edit. Damn it, I had already commented on this one. Oh well...
Oh the irony. Buddhists and Hindus dont threaten with hell like Jesus believers do, in fact, Buddhists teach to overcome suffering, something that christians cant seem to comprehend......"You believe you are evil, so shall you become." I doubt that was a superstitious statement, also some of thE garbage Jesus spouted was Buddhist.

Isn't Buddhism one of the only major religions without a supernatural component? So how would it be "superstitious"? <<
That all depends on which Buddhist you ask. It varies a lot. On the one hand, the Tibetan Buddhists assert that the Dalai Lama is in some sense reincarnated. On the other hand, some Zen teachers assert that there is no supernatural component to Buddhism at all.
The odd thing about this quote is that if it were not on Rapture Ready, it might be from an atheist fundie.
All religions are, though i've met several Hindus as well as several Bhuddists, they are much nicer people than you, sorry to say.
Confused?
So were we! You can find all of this, and more, on Fundies Say the Darndest Things!
