As we are fallen, we are ugly and depraved in that form because we lust after each other. God gave us clothes for a reason.

I never got this; is it a sin to not where clothes? 'Cause Adam and Eve were clothe-less when in the garden, when they were "made in God's image." And being sinless is what a Christian is supposed to do, right? So why the hell aren't all the Christians naked right now in little naked Christian communities? Fuck, I'd join if they actually thought for once and did that.
What? According to the Bible, human body is a divine gift, and so is the attraction between the genders. Humanity made clothes, because it was ashamed of disobeying God.
Also, we wouldn't lust for each other if our forms were ugly. Depraved, I may understand (whatever gets you off)but humans have a deep-seated attraction to the human form.
Yeah, people were cold so they made clothes (or God made clothes for and through them, whatever rocks your boat). That's the reason, other sentence is non sequitur and personal opinion that doesn't agree with source material.
The history of this attitude is hilarious, in that "I can either laugh or choke on the rage" sense of "hilarious". Let's go through the logic:
a) European Christians consider modesty, or the sense of shame at being naked, as a product of Original Sin.
b) European Christians encounter a range of cultures who have no particular sense of shame attached to nudity.
c) European Christians then conclude that:
i) people in these cultures are clearly free of Original Sin, or
ii) people in these cultures are ZOMG WORSHIPPING TEH DEBBIL!
Two guesses, and the one that follows logically from their own doctrines doesn't count.
