God could very well have put fossils on Earth to deceive scientists, in order to test their faith. And in the case of Evolutionists, they failed the test miserably. Sorry, I will take Genesis over fallible humans any day, until God tells me otherwise.

Sheesh. Every f*cking thing Jehovah does is to 'test our faith'!
First, it was teh gais. Then, it was the Holocaust. Now, he planted big 'fake' bones in the ground to see if that would make people doubt his existence.
How insecure is this madman, anyway?!
You must believe the Word of God, except when He makes evidence completely to the contrary!
But He is also not the author of deception! He made Satan put the fossils thar!
And He is not contradictory, because He is omnibenevolent!
Natural processes could very well have caused fossilization of organisms and their discovery would help us learn about our past. And in the case of fundies, they fail the test miserably. Sorry, I will take verifiable science over primitive myths any day, until something with more evidence comes along.
There, fixed it.
I like the idea that the whole "fossil thing" is a test. Only, the other way around. God put the fossils there and gave us brains and made the world look as if it was a lot older than it really was as a test of his creation. If his creation came to the logical conclusion he'd be proud that we've proven ourselves to be intelligent and reasonable creatures to him. Unfortunately, people like you keep failing the test.
BTW, Genisis was not directly transcribed by God, but by fallible humans, just like us. And I doubt God will tell you otherwise. He just doesn't seem to go around talking to people anymore like he did in the days of the Old Testament. I wonder why . . .

Darwinius masillae. The cherry on the cake of Evolutionary Theory:

This, and the shitload of other evidence (archaeological, anthropological, genetic etc) means that in the case of you Creationists, you FAILED this test. Miserably.
tl;dr: Kitzmiller vs. Dover, bitches.
So basically, we can't trust anything, because any of it could have been made up by God to screw with people, including the Bible, as well as all your own memories.
Confused?
So were we! You can find all of this, and more, on Fundies Say the Darndest Things!
