It is ridiculous. Pointy teeth rip flesh apart, but would just get plant matter stuck in them.
Flat teeh grind plant matter but can't rip meat off of animals.
Clearly the T-Rex was a vicious carnivore.

So the T-Rex got too much fiber, which caused a surge in methane, which changed the environment which caused the extinction of the dinosaurs. It all makes sense now!

I'm no expert on this but
I'm sure that T-Rex was
NOT a giant termite.

Or, how about this: Meateaters! Just like anything alive today with similiar shaped teeth.
Oh sure, they may have eaten some plant life once in awhile but they mainly ate meat

Damn, that's some mean rationalization, right there. So, let's see: Tough wood= very tough to cut through and eat
Skin and meat= relatievely easy to cut through and eat.
I wonder whether T-rex thought the same?

Why do I want to clone T Rex?
So I can feed this idiot to one.

anti-nonsensesurprisingly, beavers, that actually do chew wood, don't have teeth like t-rex.
Beaver teeth

Wouldn't a tree that was ravaged by a T.Rex, I don't know, die?
