I was going through the random quotes section, and I came across this little gem. Of course it comes from RR, and I'm actually somewhat surprised that this guy, or at least one person at RR didn't see the significance of this post. This moron actually suggests that any religious teaching, if not leading one to christian doctrines about christ, then it's wrong. If they judge the truthfulness of a dogma or belief by how many people accept it, like seems to be the case here, then that would automatically mean that, if christianity is right, then the catholic church is the true church. If it's based on how quickly a religion is growing, which Islam is one of the fastest, if not the fastest, growing religion in the world, then this person, and all who would agree with him, have some serious problems. Now, we know that just because something is popular, doesn't mean that it's right. So catholicism, islam, etc, just because they have large numbers of adherents, doesn't mean they have any veracity to them. But what gets me most about this post, is that he: 1. indirectly, if not directly, indicates that allah is real, 2. suggests that, since allah is real, he must lead his followers to christ, 3. if he doesn't lead them to christ, then he is actually satan, and 4. allah is the direct cause of the growth of islam. I have never seen logic and reasoning skills as bad as this, even at RR, where some of the craziest fundy bullshit we've seen comes from. But this takes the cake. This is hilarious, and a reason why NO religion is right, ESPECIALLY the abrahamic ones (although I don't really have a problem with Baha'i).
