Actually, no, he's not.
There's nothing in the Old Testament that denies the existence of other gods -- in fact, there are parts that seem to acknowledge them: witness Moses beating Pharaoh's sorcerer in a sticks to snakes competition. Jehovah is considered the greatest god of all, but not necessarily the only one. Note the commandment is "no other gods before me", not just "no other gods". In fact, I once met a Jewish Wiccan. She thought that was perfectly finem because she put Judaism first. She was putting the pagan gods after Jehovah, and that was just fine by her logic. (I'd be interested in hearing her rabbi's take on the matter, though...)
It's a modern concept that Jehovah is the only god and any other deity is a minion of Satan.
