Get you a good deal on the Brooklyn Bridge? Well, kid, if you buy YEC, I can get you the whole damn borough!
Viva: it's a common turn of phrase to imply that the person being offered the Brooklyn Bridge has acted in a gullible manner or fallen or bought into something that should have been obvious, like they had believed the stranger offering to sell the Brooklyn Bridge. Hence, "If you beleive that, I've got a bridge you might be interested in."
Hey, 6000yrs, I can get you a good deal on a copy of Strunk and White ! And if you heard the circus is hiring, maybe it's because someone thought you might make a fair amount working in the sideshow. Unfortunately, much like intelligent, literate people who take everything the Bible says at face value, they don't have many sideshows anymore.

Wha-? Oh, you want us to all commit suicide I think. I love how understanding, friendly, kind-hearted, and accepting of others you fundies all are.
"lol I hear the circus is hiring."
But your the professional clown so they only want to hire you.
Not believing that a magic man in the sky made a man out of dirt, then a woman out of a rib and subsequently got pissed off because they ate a fruit and later killed everyone with a flood that there's no evidence of that only a few people escaped using a physically impossible boat during a time when a bunch of civilizations that never mentioned any flood were around = the height of gullibility, apparently.
I would want to see evidence of this bridge, and your authority to sell it.
I would also like to see specifics about this circus, such as positions which are open, expectations and qualifications for application and salaries which are being offered.
After all, the evidence for and details about evolution are known to me. Shouldn't I hold you and your claims to the same standard? Or is it somehow unfair to expect that of religion?
Believing in evolution, change over time, a proven lineal event, is stupid.
Believing in talking serpents, magic apples, A God from nowhere, magic after magic, a magic boat etc, all without a shred of evidence,,, is sensible.
Confused?
So were we! You can find all of this, and more, on Fundies Say the Darndest Things!
