In my own opinon, sin is not about the victim, but about breaking a contract with God.

Too bad God doesn't exist.
I used a fake name, they'll never find me.
I don't see what's so terribly fundy about this. It sounds like a run of the mill theological debate point that could come up in practically any church at all, from the most liberal to the most conservative.
@Darwin: LOL, me too.
@Brian X: In my understanding, he's saying that when you do something bad to someone else, their suffering doesn't matter; it's just about the fact that your actions supposedly offend God (even though God does and condones much worse things than anything most of us will ever do in the Bible).

In other words " God says I can lie, cheat, steal or rape, as long as I don't do it to God"
That's really the perimeter line some Fundies see, people mean nothing. Well, except them

I never signed a contract with your imaginary God, so I guess this means I can beat the shit out of you and it wouldn't matter. No contract broken means no harm done, right?
In my own opinion, sin is an arbitrary concept. If you do harm to another person, you must answer to that person, and perhaps also to the police and the court.
