Quote# 2910

they [humans and velociraptors] did encounter each other, but since writing wasnt very prevalent and they were considered a 'normal' animal noone wrote it down.

Interesting. You'll notice how, from the information given, it is completely unprovable.

Quantum Mechanic

I encountered a velociraptor and I'll write about it.

I saw a pair of road runners last Saturday outside my window.

Yet other mundane animals did make note. Odd, that...

3/7/2008 10:32:35 PM

Oh yeah? If they didn't write about it, how do you know they encountered each other?

Jake Steel

The Flintstones is not a documentary!

I didn't find writing to be very prevalent in this post.

3/8/2008 5:40:56 AM

he's right. There was'nt much writting going on 40 million years ago.

Well, there's a little-known trace fossil from the late Jurassic which looks suspiciously like "OH SHIT! HERE COMES A R..."

Think Floyd

1) Absolute lies.
2) That would have been terrifying but awesome.

Nobody has ever written about dogs, because they are also normal animals...
oh, wait, they have.
P.S. Who is this "Noone" person who writes down when he sees velociraptors? Now I wanna know!

5/27/2010 9:27:47 PM

Actually, the truth is that no human survived these encounters.

5/5/2012 1:21:30 PM

last night i saw two bats one raccoon, and Fluttershy and Pinkie pie having a chocolate cake from aperture science..

5/5/2012 8:28:17 PM

I know, right? Just like no ancient texts ever mention "oxen" or "asses" or "horses" or "swine" because writing wasn't very prevalent and those were considered normal animals and therefore no one ever thought about writing them down.

@Iczer-four: Interesting, since I found this last night. Coincidence? I think not.
