I hope Jesus smites the Catholic Church! It is a disgrace to Christianity!!

Jesus' smites are kind of hard to read. A bush not bearing fruit out of season?
If he does smite the Catholic Church, which I really doubt he's in a position to do, that could mean anything. Maybe it means it's his fav. This could also explain the mysterious "27 club" of musicians.
Despite the flaws and issues of the Catholic church, and my own issues with it, I do have to say that as a Catholic child I at least had the freedom to think for myself and grow into my own person, little if any media were censored in our house, I had a very strong bond with my family (that exists to this day) and church community, and a definite certainty of my roots and identity. Most of my fellow Catholic friends' families had similar traits.
And what would a Rapture Retard's child have to say about their upbringing? "My parents kept me shut up in the house all day, protected me from those ebil Harry Potter books and told me that my sole purpose in life was to cook, clean & spread 'em for some ungrateful jackass that I wasn't even allowed to truly get to know before I married him, and if he beats me it's my own fault for not being enough of a doormat, but that's okay because our sky daddy is going to whoosh us all up into the clouds any minute now"?
And why is this?
Because we don't believe that just saying "I'm saved" is enough? Because we don't leave the interpretation of the tennets of our faith to any of a dime a dozen street preachers? Because we believe that those who set an example of heroic faith and good works should be respected? Or is because we honor the mother of Our Savior?
Which of those are disgraces for Christianity?
Confused?
