These were laws put in place for the israelites in the desert. No, they don't apply to all x-tians. But if you believe they do, don't eat shrimp, get a tattoo/piercing or eat pork. By the way, if your eyes or nuts don't work or if you are missing an ear or a limb, don't expect to find yourself in heaven one day. You're going to hell.

This so-called Christian should try reading at least some of the words of Christ. As I recall, he declared those laws null and/or void; so unless this poster rejects those old laws, he is not following Christ's teachings.

On the contrary... Jesus said that they were all to be followed. It was Paul who claimed they were all null and void.

CT, really? I'll admit it's been quite a while since I read it closely, but I could swear that this was something that was implicit in a quotation from Jesus, not in one of Paul's letters or something. I guess I'll have to do some research on that now, darn it. But if I am mistaken, thanks for the correction.

Matthew 5:17-18
* Think not that I am come to destroy the law, or the prophets: I am not come to destroy, but to fulfil.
* For verily I say unto you, Till heaven and earth pass, one jot or one tittle shall in no wise pass from the law, till all be fulfilled.
