Yes, but, that whole bit about Jesus in its entirety is in question. That and 'conclusive proof' indicates that women require sperm to become pregnant, and that would have easily come from Joseph...

No, the simpler explanation would be that Jesus came from Mary and Joseph because being conceived from two people the ordinary way is simpler than being conceived by a virgin impregnated by a mystical spirit that no one has ever seen. Why the heck am I explaining the obvious anyway?

Which is more likely?
Jesus was born by a natural birth.
Or
Jesus was born by the help of an invisible magic man and was given super powers.

This is just indescribebly sad...I had always thought that the Human race was gaining in itellect , not losing it at a rapid pace.

What's so difficult in accepting that Mary conceived in the normal fashion, without the supernatural element? Joseph, btw, was not an external, or extrinsic, element; he was her fucking husband!

No adding Joseph is not adding elements, adding a heavenly sperm doner does.

You misunderstand Occam's Razor. A father is a necessary entity in the birth of any child, as is a mother.

Clearly, either the computer is coming up with these messages itself, or Daganev is sat at the computer, typing them in.
There's no evidence to support the claim in either direction, so I guess Daganev must be the unnecessary entity.

It just occurred to me that the "Total nonsense" at the end pretty much covers everything he said. Even he doesn't believe this crap.

Only that babies are made up from eggs and spermatozoids, and women don't produce them at random(and even then, they were well aware that you need two to tango)

I've used this before, but:
You are an idiot.
You are not an idiot.
Your version of Occam's Razor says you are an idiot, since it contains fewer elements.

Effectively Joseph is included in the Nativity scene in the Bible for one reason alone(if one believes in the virgin birth), to fulfil a scripture stating that the Messiah would come from the "House of David" of whom Joseph was a descendant(and Mary was not).

"Which is more plausible an event? Jesus was born with just Mary, or Jesus was born through Mary and Joseph."
So, just Mary, not Mary and God? Wow, way to cut the divinity of Jesus there. You know, perhaps you should use this really handy built in tool we all have. It's called a brain.

We have evidence that human birth requires male and female humans having sex. Plus, virgin birth requires God, which is an unproven entity, while Joseph is not (Assuming, of course, Jesus is proved as a historical character).

@TauRaven :
I've come to the conclusion that the world has a maximum total intelligence limit, ie the total IQ will not excede a certain amount. So the more of us the less there is to go around.
Either that, or the more of us there is the greater the possibility for extremes of stupidity.
Maybe :-)

no, there is absolutely no evidence to suggest that women cannot get pregnant without sex, especially before IVF and artificial insemination.
