I know what these people think. Yes, it is a conspiracy to undermine God's Word. You see, these independent studies are just that: independent of the truth of the Word of God. A clear agenda to discover some truth other than what we have been given already. There is no other truth, and no one has been able to disprove Creation.

Nnnnnno, it's more that any proof for evolution, or against creationism is automatically denounced as a satanic lie, and systematically ignored.
No one's been able to disprove tiny, dancing bottles of nailpolish out in space, either.
Doesn't mean they don't exist.
But logic tells me that it's highly unlikely, if not impossible.
You know... Kinda like saying there's a big white guy sitting up there in a fantastical white land that knows everything and every one of us individually and gives us signs and answers our billions of prayers and... You get the point, right?
FA is correct in that there is only one absolute truth. Unfortunately for him, he'll never know what it is. As to disproving the biblical creation story, that's been done to death but he seems blissfully unaware of it.
Science can never "prove" that the existence of the world is not due to some divine agency.
It can , and indeed has proven that the earth did not pop into existence 6000 years ago, that there was no global flood, and that human beings did not descend from 4 breeding pairs (the male line being all related) radiating out from Mesopotamia 4500 years ago.
There is more proof against the above than there is against the existence of a secret toy factory manned by elves under the arctic pack ice.
No one can disprove any creation myth from anywhere. Additionally, no one can use any of those myths from anywhere, to understand how life and the universe works.
Geologists are studying the moons of Saturn at present, while the cretinists continue to proclaim the sky is blue because Bog or God made it that way.
Relevance? Any relevance anywhere?
Didn't think so.
Perhaps you missed the point here, axe! It is not incumbent upon us, who have a working, proven scientific theory for creation, to disprove that a competing theory with no tangible proof, only 2000 year old writings about "supernatural"(read "one unproven religious belief among hundreds of others") creation. It is up to you to provide us with a positive reason to accept your belief, the negative disbelief is already a given and requires no proof.
Confused?
So were we! You can find all of this, and more, on Fundies Say the Darndest Things!
