That's funny because in his other book The Descent of Man, and Selection in Relation to Sex Darwin actually distanced himself from Herbet Spencer's theory, which would latter be known as Social Darwinism twenty years after Darwin died. Yeah it's funny what you'll find within five minuets of research.

Many of the people that espoused so called social Darwinism were actually creationists.

Get the message. Evolution is a scientific theory. Social Darwinism is an ideology and both don't go hand in hand. For example, some of the commandments in the Bible or some of the laws in the South could be social Darwinism without even knowing it, because they JUST fit on the pattern. Period.
