Peak oil is just another scam to keep the prices up. There is more than enough oil, enough in Alaska alone to last for over 200 years.
There lately has been much evidence that oil is self replenishing, it is not made from dead plants and animals buried in the flood. Think about it for a minute, the very same people who claim the oil is from buried foliage don't even believe there was a flood(or even the existence of God), how can you have it both ways?

That is because, you nitwit, the fossil fuel/remains are from millions of years ago, not your Fundie calendar of 4000 years (or whatever absurd number it is, because no two fundie groups agree). So of course the animals/plants weren't buried by "Da FLOOD".
What the hell do you mean "both ways?" Which "ways" would that be?
You don't get to just say "having it both ways," and think you've somehow struck an amazing point of logic.
Well, I thought about it for about three seconds...
<snicker>
Thanks for playing, Larry. The exit is over there.
There lately has been much evidence that oil is self replenishing,
BULLSHIT BULLSHIT BULLSHIT BULLSHIT BULLSHIT BULLSHIT BULLSHIT BULLSHIT
You fail!
Now here's what's really funny about "having it both ways."
This is from rapture ready, where everyone is convinced the rapture and tribulation are coming SOON, as in within the next few years - certainly within the lifetime of the people that subscribe to the whacked idea. In any case, that would mean that whether or not oil will run out is NOT a concern for them... they're all gonna be raptured before they have to ever worry about it.
Yet here, larry thinks it's important to point out that there are "hundreds of years" of oil in one place. What would that matter to someone who really believes we won't be around for those few hundreds of years?
What an idiot.
Well, if Larry can believe that the Earth is only 6,000 years old, then that oil is created very very rapidly (in his mind). So if you can create all that oil in 6,000 years, why the Earth must be cooking the stuff up right now to replenish us.
Not...
Evidence where?, in the Onion or in "Science for Christians"?. And second, nobody says that those dead animals and plants of which oil is made of came from the flood. That's something YOU, science-illiterate, think. They say that it's formed from organic material that dates back thousands years.
Surely if oil was self replenishing fast enough to counteract our consumption of it, it would be very easy to place some kind of tracer in the source material (a specific radioisotope, for example) and then observe the tracer present in the output of oil wells?
What, you haven't done that? Come back when you have, and we'll talk.
"The Iraq War is just another scam to keep the oil prices up." *
There. Fixed.
* Oil prices were fairly stable from 1/2000 to late 2003 (the Iraq War began in mid-2003). Then they started a steady climb, interrupted only by a dip in the latter half of 2006. A 40% drop in the value of the dollar since the Bush tax cuts hasn't helped, either.
"There lately has been much evidence that oil is self replenishing, "
Unlike your brain cells you terminally stupid cunt.
The only thing more upsetting than someone stupid enough to utter this shit, is the fact that there are probably 20 fundies reading
it, nodding their heads, going: 'uh huh, gotta point there larry, uh huh...'
You're right, we should just wait 200 years until we're COMPLETELY out of oil.
That way we'll be COMPLETELY fucked instead of just using renewable energy.
Why were regions near the river Oder under water a few years ago when The Flood did not happen then?
BTW: why do these fundies seem to assume that alternative fuels are bad but paying large sums of money to Muslim dictatorships for oil isn't?
Fossil fuels do absolutely nothing to confirm the existence of God or the biblical flood. The former is completely redundant, the latter is far too recent (if it happened at all) to have given us the stuff that you put in your gas-guzzling '79 Chevy, idiot.
No-one in the know thinks there was a flood, that is correct. Animals were buried at death, for millions of years, almost billions of years.
With pressure and time - lots of time - oil was formed. Sure, oil might be forming still, from buried animals, but if we tap into these stores, there will soon not be enough buried animals to keep us with oil for more than a few decades.
Most of the CEOs of today's oil companies won't live for more than a few decades more, so why would they care?
a)Because oil wells never dry up?
b)Because there are not pockets deep within the Earth only in certain areas and at different levels ?
c)Because you have no clue of the actual process?
The very same people also don't even believe in the existence of the Tooth Fairy.
Oh, and the people claim that oil is from plants and animals burried for millions of years.
Your imaginary flood allegedly happened just a few thousand years ago.
Those ARE two ways, stupid.
When the oil companies go prospecting for new sources, they will be calling real geologists, not YEC's. That should tell you something. But then, if you were capable of listening you wouldn't be a rapture groupie
Confused?
