[regarding homeopathy]
See double slit experiment. The person making the medicine and observing it influences it. Along with that, the shaking in between dilution introduces ether and extracts the spirit of the substance which was all known in alchemy 100's of years ago. Even recent scientific studies give credit to alchemical transmutations

Woah there, slow down beatsmyth. Now repeat after me. Fullmetal Alchemist is not a documentary.
Oh, and it's kind of fundie. Those homeopathy supporters can be pretty hardcore about their beliefs.
"See double slit experiment. The person making the medicine and observing it influences it."
You misunderstand quantum mechanics. What is meant is that you must disturb a system in order to make an observation, and this applies not to making medicine. Physics: F

Cut it out with the mystical bullshit. Chemistry: F

Wrong. Intellectual Honesty/Ethics: F
EPIC FAIL.
"scientists/scientific studies agree..."
is just a prefix that means "this is so much bullcrap that no one with a functioning brain would believe it so i'm trying to give it a bit of an air of authority"
creationists use it all the time

The double-slit experiment works if what is observing the passage of particles through the slit is a photomultiplier tube, or a piece of photographic film, or a polarizer, or any number of inanimate objects.
So what is the 'observer's influence on homeopathic medicine supposed to do? Would pointing a camera at it work just as well?
No! Just No!
Those vaguely scientific things that you mentioned don't lend weight to your argument like you think they do.
Please take 12" of clue, a liberal amount of lube and shove it up your arse.

You're battin' 1,000.
See double slit experiment.
That sounds incredibly dirty. Or maybe it's just me. In any case, it made me laugh.
In other words, it's the same aspirin and medicine, but with some supernatural paraphernalia, just in case.
I second Sideshow Bob's suggestion.
Yahweh, when you get the site revamped, how about including a fourth department for generic stupidity? We could call it "Idiots Say The Darnedest Things."

To demonstrate the fundie-ness of this post, albeit non-christian fundie-ness, all you have to do is read the previous post. Homeopathic alchemy vs. Jesus-blessed annointing oil! Lying and gullibility for pseudoscience takes on lying and gullibility for Jesus! Let the games begin!
... introduces ether ?!
Surely, you're not speaking of Diethyl Ether (C4 H10 O) used as an anesthetic during surgery, because we could detect that.
And just as surely, you're not speaking of the Luminiferous Ether, the medium on which light waves were hyopthesized to propagate, because even if such a thing DID exist it would exist everywhere in equal quantities and thus couldn't be "introduced" into anything.
Therefore, you must be talking about the Fifth Element of Aristotle, the Crystalline Ether out of which the spheres of the planets and fixed stars are constructed.
Since Crystalline Ether is perfectly hard and perfectly transparent, getting shards of it in your homeopathic concoctions would be even worse than getting shards of broken glass in there. How come none of your patients have sued you for all the tissue damage these pieces of Ether have caused?
Well there's a mess of stuff that doesn't mean anything when put together. We've got, let's see: irrelevant physics, quantum woo, ether theory, vitalism, and denial of chemistry (something even creationists won't touch).
Beatsmyth, you're an idiot.
"Woah there, slow down beatsmyth. Now repeat after me. Fullmetal Alchemist is not a documentary."
Well, it's an alternate reality, so you never know... :p
The double slit experiment has nothing to do with quantum observation / Heisenberg things.
Quantum Heisenberg thingies act on a much smaller scale than cells do.
ether and spirit are bullshit, which is why we don't believe the principles of alchemy anymore.
If homeopathy was real, shouldn't a glass of water be able to cure all curable diseases? The water would have come into contact with pretty much every medication ever made at this point, or come into contact with water that had.
You fail.
Confused?
So were we! You can find all of this, and more, on Fundies Say the Darndest Things!
