Then, yesterday, Mom and I were talking about the trials of raising teenagers, and I said "Well, hopefully Jesus will come back before then and I won't have to worry about it." She was horrified by the thought - like that would cheating them out of life or something. I said 'Mom, Christ returning is a GOOD thing!' She just looked at me like I was crazy.
