Pascal's wager:

You live as though God exists.
-If God exists, you go to heaven: your gain is infinite.
-If God does not exist, you gain nothing & lose nothing.

-OR-
You live as though God does not exist.
-If God exists, you go to hell: your loss is infinite.
-If God does not exist, you gain nothing & lose nothing.

I personally believe in the Buddhist variant where that regardless of whether the concepts of reincarnation and karma are valid, acting as if they are brings tangible rewards here and now. But mine involves not physically and psychological harming people, not yours.

Ironically, Pascal was a hairless deformed monkey man who thought God would fix up all his shit when he got to heaven.

Your English grammar is deplorable. A plural noun requires the agreement of a plural verb. 'All sources ARE...' if you don't mind.

Then your spelling. It's not 'beleive'. It should be 'BELIEVE'

Now, do tell me, who is this deformed monkey-man? George Bush?

'...something out of Gods (sic) Own Mouth...' Apart from the missing apostrophe in 'God's', are you trying to draw attention to divine halitosis?

If you mean the Bible, btw, sorry, no record of God ever having written it. It's purely a rumour put about by right wing Fundamentalists with a remarkable lack of intelligence and no powers of discrimination.

He apparently doesn't know how to use Google, either. Entering Pascal Wager gives 42,300 hits. The first page offers many explanations.

Pascal's Wager was the "evidence" that Frenchman Blaise Pascal used to prove that it is better to believe in God from a pragmatic standpoint. The problem is that you can't exactly "choose" your beliefs, you either have them or you don't.

He's not a Poe. He doesn't know who Pascal Wager is.........understandable. He doesn't know that God didn't write anything AT ALL. That's even more understandable.
