who said a painting needs self replicating chemicals to paint itself?
No one, but I'm sure you won't let that stop you.

You really should look up definitions of words before using them.
Complexity does not mean obtuse, ignorant, incomprehensible and contradictory.
If you wish to argue the complexity and sophistication of DNA compared to human invention, may I point out that you are using a personal computer to post on the internet.
Personally, I enjoyed the thought of a painting that paints itself. Reminded me of Through the Looking Glass.

Uh... microprocessor? Pretty damn complex -- maybe not to the degree of the human genome, but certainly more so than many bacterial ones.

"...who said a painting needs self replicating chemicals to paint itself?
A moot point. Paintings are incapable of reproducing themselves.
[sigh]
Why even bother?

"The bible is more complicated than stupid atheist satanic theories about the origin of life."
Human theories about nature must be logical, they must demonstrate internal consistency and no matter how neat they sound they must be open to criticism. The bible, having no such restrictions in the minds of its adherents, has a distinct advantage.

But we've made DNA.

Ah, lookwithlove. What an inappropriate username he had. It was funny the way he kept calling everyone he disagreed with a "failed rebel," though.
