[On the controversial movie, Golden Compass]

This is a sick way to target children. Athiests should be banned from getting anywhere near children.
KIDS are off limits. Their minds, bodies etc are off limits!

Athiests are obviously free to think as they wish but to cram this down unsuspecting children's and parents' throats is a violation of freedom. This is past the limit of acceptance by any parent. It is predatory.

I think there are laws protecting children from predatory propoganda.

Anything that targets children should be considered illegal like porno, pedophiles (in any profession), abuse, KKK , athiests, etc.

First of all, learn to spell the word "atheist." The fact that you can't even spell the word demonstrates to me that you don't know what the hell you're talking about, and most likely have no clue what atheism is.

I'm willing to bet a lot of money that you haven't even SEEN the Golden Compass. I suspect that you've heard all kinds of misinformation and outright lies from your pastor/priest/minister or you read it in an e-mail forword or you read one of those propaganda pamphlets that fundies are handing out like zombies.

See the movie before opening your giant hysterical trap.

There is no way a child will see the movie and come out questioning what they are being brainwashed in sunday school or by mom and dad.

If you ask me, your religion is "predatory propaganda." You tell children that your religion is fact. Consequently, their innocent, trusting little minds will accept it without question. If your religion was legitimate, there would be no need to brainwash children with its myths and doctrines at such a vulnerable age. You could wait until they were adults to introduce religion and let them rationally decide to believe. Of course you won't admit it, but it's an obvious truth that it wouldn't work; religion would nearly vanish within several generations.

When the childrens' Veggie Tales movie, Jonah came out a few years ago, I'm sure you didn't yelp about its underlying promotion of the Bible and Christianity did you? I'm sure you didn't think this was a violation of freedom. It's the same deal my dear.

Also, if anything that targets childrend should be illegal, then I am pleased to tell you that religious indroctination is included!

...religion, commercials, Sunday School, beauty pageants, Christianity, TV programs, did I say religion?, etc.

Atheism is basically "think for yourself and don't accept ancient fairy tales as truths without careful scrutiny".
Yeah, that's really predatory! How dare we teach kids critical thinking?

Fucking mirror. One of the things that offends me most about religion is how they think that it is acceptable to indoctrinate children from early childhood. Besides, His Dark Materials is not exactly a children's trilogy. You could consider it as such, as it is acceptable to read to small children; the problem is that they would not understand half of the book's philosophy, and it is rather allegory - heavy as well. But I enjoyed it immensely.

P.S: Just noticed he was blathering about the movie, not the book. That is probably because he has trouble understanding the concept of the written word. We should feel honored that he strained his tiny, fragile brain for long enough to write this little diatribe.
