I’m a Bible believing Christian, with that being said, quoting scripture from various books of the Bible is all the proof I need.

John 6:66
From this time many of his disciples turned back and no longer followed him.
Hahaha, I'm just happy to find a John 666 .
One of the many problems with religion is that it teaches people that it is ok to remain ignorant.
Also, is there such a thing as a non-Bible believing Christian? Or a Bible believing non-Christian? Just seems kind of redundant.
Douchebag.

If someone quotes certain Bible passages, would you stop believing?

Then why bother having a brain, or that which is supposed to come with it, known as Critical Thinking?
I guess the only practical purpose that grey matter in there serves is to keep your ears apart. But that's why religion exists - it does the thinking for you.
Well,,,On Rapture Ready that is all thats expected, Bible quotes are a checkmate to any topic to those end-time fundies.
It's when they try it in the real world they have nothing.
And may I again plead with all you Fundies to do us a favor? Open that Bible up at the beginning and read it line after line IN IT'S ORDER to the end. Context matters.
The Fundie method of hopping from verse to verse, book to book in no linear or connected order is why your brand of religion is the worst and most ignorant of it's own holy book.
I'm a Bible-reading Atheist. With that being said, quoting scripture from various books of the Bible is all the proof I need...:

...to not only reinforce* my Atheism, but to annihilate anything fundies say to justify their insane way of thinking & bigoted attitudes based on such, by using their own weapon against them. Just as Churchill used the Nazis' own Enigma-encrypted transmissions (via Alan Turing & co. at Bletchley Park in WWII) to ultimately learn more about the Wehrmacht than even Hitler did, using their own information against them.
(emphasis added):
'Know your enemy and know yourself, and you will not be imperiled in a hundred battles. '
-Sun Tzu, "The Art of War"
*- 'Properly read, the Bible is the most potent force for Atheism ever conceived'
-Isaac Asimov
Most of those books are forgeries.
That fact has been common knowledge for centuries.
Therefore humans are stupid.
Clearly not. Because a lot of Christians, confronted with bible passages that directly impact on their behaviour, suddenly claim context, or new covenants, or a myriad of other excuses that somehow don't apply when they quote bible passages condemning someone else's behaviour.
Confused?
So were we! You can find all of this, and more, on Fundies Say the Darndest Things!
