Australia's biggest threat from freedom of religion is from the fundamentalist humanist who insist their wonky philosophies are based on science. Somehow they loathe the freedoms established in our nation through biblical principles and champion earth worshiping policies that include murdering the unborn. They often champion pagan religion that leads to all sorts of dysfunction in a society and label anyone who oppose them as bigots. They seem to be over represented by the homosexual lobby which is not surprising considering their philosophies which really come from paganism

Oh, wow, so Australia was another nation founded on biblical principles, just like God Bless America, and is now threatened by the homosexual lobby, just like the good ole U.S. of A.? Who'd have thunk it?
Well, no one, actually - except for a few fundifucktards.
Let's see...
...fundamentalist humanist...
...over represented by the homosexual lobby...
...philosophies which really come from paganism...
...champion earth worshiping policies that include murdering the unborn...
So, the pagan earth worshipping fundamentalist humanist homosexuals are forcing woman to have abortions in Australia
or
runner need to slow down because the endorphins are ****ing up his mind.
@Whoever wrote: "Australia was founded on biblical principles? Since when?"
Perhaps they mean Zechariah 5:3, "every thief will be banished, [...] everyone who swears falsely will be banished"?
(With apologies to our Aussie participants.)

Exactly! You know how popular Christianity is in prisons....
Hilarious. Yep, the first thing those convicts did was get together and say, "Let's always keep Biblical principles in mind."
Australia (a great country, by the way) was populated by felons. The U. S. was populated by riff-raff and social misfits who were kicked out of decent, civilized nations.
Australia and the U. S. have much in common. Including an infestation of fundy retardation.
Okay, runner, you got us. Gays worship the earth. It is a ritual (and requirement of being gay) that at least twice a year during the full moon you must dig a hole in the dirt and fuck it, symbolically impregnating the earth with our gay seed.
Australia's biggest threat from freedom of religion
Peter Costello? Gota be- the treasurer turning up to a service by the largest tax frauds (hill$ong) in the land, who actually use brainwashing techniques in their sermons? Gota be what he's talking about.
Maybe the Exclusive Bretherin, who are anti-democracy, but still support the liberal party (they aren't really liberal)?
No it can't be. The greatest threat to the freedom of religion, is the people want want a bill of rights specifically making a law making the removal of such illegal. Cource. And they are going to achieve this destruction by inenting another foirm of religion, with no faith or higher being, based entirely on observale reality- and by allowing gays the same rights everyone else enjoyes, doing no damage to anyone, except the heteros who all divorce out of shock.
freedoms established in our nation
Freedom to genocide well-represented.
(With apologies to our Aussie participants.)
Pfft. I came over as a carpenter from Newcastle-upon-Tyne 6 generations ago :) Bloody convicts.

Wtf!! Get out of my country!
I thought we were (relatively) safe here in Australia. Ok, we've got Hillsong, but so far there's no push to teach creationism in schools, and gay marriage and abortion are rarely discussed in the lead up to an election.
As a student of Australian History, I'd say Australia was founded on racism, considering our treatment of the Aboriginals here.
Hm, I'm surprised that this poster's currently only ranked a 3. It seems pretty heavily based on the common fundie spew.

Whitey basically fucks over whoever's living in the area before they get there. We don't call them aborigines, but they are just as nearly extinct.
Sometime after repeatedly breaking oaths, the American natives got exiled to barren lands far to the west in some of the most terrible human rights violations witnessed in the history of America. After that, there was an assimilation process that was undertaken for a few decades that worked (whether intentionally or inadvertently, but you can guess my take on the agenda of this particular policy) destroy their language and culture.
Let's not forget the much more popularized race-based slavery that the US is famous for either.
To all of our friends in Australia:
I'm sorry you have to share a continent with idiots like this.
May Tank Girl deliver swift and merciful justice on these deluded fools.
[I swear I'm going to start a Church of Tank Girl one day.]
....This poor dear's mind would implode if he met my dad's cousin Shelly. She's...A high priestess. ^^
@Michael:
Don't joke about gay kangaroos. It is....Utterly terrifying. Actually, mating kangaroos in general is...Ah, very scary.
We have no threat to freedom of religion in Australia besides Christianity being our state religion. We have the Mulitculturalism policy here in Aus, quite a wonderful philosophy.
The people who are having trouble with the freedom of religion are the muslims in our country who keep getting locations for Mosques or Muslim schools (like catholic ones) rejected because the community doesn't want them there. They say it's because it's a Christian neighborhood, but that's fundie bullshit because Multiculturalism policy means in theory no "area" is a specific religious or racial demographic because we all mix in harmony. In theory.
As an australian, It is my understanding that the majority of attcks on freedom of religion, anywhere, are made by religions.
...
Did I just hear an explosion?
Confused?
