Respectfully Giga,
The Levitical law was not superceded as to moral issues. The dietary laws were changed in most cases, but they were enumerated in the NT. The Levitical system as a whole is gone nowadays (sacrifices, observance of the law etc) but again the morals are unchangeable (Biblically speaking).
Bestiality, necrofelia incest are just as off limits now as in Leviticus. Homosexuality is as well. If you see that as an unacceptable demand, then you would not want anything to do with God anyway. So, being where He is doesn't seem like what you would want anyway. Am I wrong?
The translation is not problematic, given the Leviticus transcript in the Dead Sea Scrolls matches what we have current day. Not to mention the Septuagint version is also consistent.
As to your lifestyle, I can't tell you why you live the life you do. I know nothing about you. I can only tell you of my personal experience with a lifestyle. If we want to use the "I was born this way" explanation, I was born not to be monogamous, but I have chosen to be. I did so because God requires it of me. I know some will laugh at that, but so be it.
My former lifestyle was one of promiscuity and was more environmental than anything and had much to do with my peers. Personally, I left it behind and have been married for 21 years, faithfully, to the same woman.
Allot of people, many on this board, think God is sending them to hell. The truth is He wants that no one to go there, so, He made a way to avoid it. For those who may believe He exists, but want no part of Him, they choose not to take His offer. Therefor if it's not Heaven it's hell, but it is a conscious decision. Bottom line nobody can blame Him for the choice, He didn't make it for them.
Giga, I am glad to dialog with you. If "Christians" would do harm to you, they are ignorant of the teachings of the Bible. Jesus did no such thing, nor did He teach we should.
