Who cares whether it's hillary or osama, if either of them are elected God will strike this nation down. The problem is, the republican candidates this time around are a bunch of freaking liberals too. The only real conservative is Ron Paul and the establishment is not going to let him win.

It's Obama, dickhole! He should kick you ass for that!
There are no liberal Republicans! Strike Two!
Ron Paul is a Libertarian! Strike Three!
ElijahFAILING!
Well, Ron Paul is really and truly a conservative in the literal sense of the word. But I don't think that exactly makes the other Republicans liberals...
Oddly enough he's more "liberal" in the common Left/Right sense most Republicans, having more of a libertarian philosophy. (Definite fundie side though.)
Wait, since when does a democratic country have its leaders elected by "the establishment"? Darn, guess I missed the memo.
Hillary Clinton may not be to everyone's tastes, but isn't comparing her to bin Laden the modern equivalent of a Godwin?
osama can only run if he's a born US citizen!
I believe you mean Obama, who is under that criteria eligable to run for office! :)
God didn't strike the US when a catholic was elected president, he didn't strike the country when bill clinton was elected - looks like god doesn't care - or doesn't exists!

Maybe ElijahFalling ought to run?
So, it's agreed.
When the elections are over, Ron Paul is still not President, and the country is still in one piece, we'll take a field trip to personally mock ElijahFalling.
As an amused Canadian watching all of this with interest, I am rooting for a Democrat candidate to win, but I'm of two minds as to who would be best suited to the job, Hillary Clinton or Barack Obama.
Anyone but the pack of Republican idiots vying for the job.
One things for sure, either one would make for some funny antics in Fundieland.
I swaer, if I see one more "accidental" misspelling of Obama, I'm gonna go squirrelly. Seriously, why do these people get so hung up on names and skin colors?
@KaylaKaze: if you were referring to the UFO he alledges he saw, that doesn't necessarily make him nuts. If he saw something in the sky and can't even hazard a guess as to what it might have been, then without invoking nutty explanations as to its origin, it was an unidentified flying object by definition.
If so, he's in good company. Millions of other people have seen something strange. I once watched a very large, red glowing object moving slowly over the trees in my neighborhood on two successive nights in the mid-90's. While I'm very, very cautiously leaning towards "experimental military aircraft" as a possible explanation, and there's no way in hell I'm going to invoke demons, angels, aliens or things from another dimension to explain it away, at the end of the day, I really have no idea what it was I actually saw.
Too bad fundies don't read their Bibles or they would realize Jesus was a liberal(liberal is said by God 7 times in the KJV, conservative 0, a bit fat ZERO times) and we need to elect a liberal to get back on his good side. 9/11, Iraq, busted economy, big oil profits, war-profiteering politicians, all these things happened after a RIGHT-WING CONSERVATIVE was elected which pissed God off. He has warned us by smacking us down already for voting GOP, and being stupid enough to violate his liberal beliefs twice.
Ron Paul's ability to appeal to both atheists and fundies will make him the greatest president ever.
Laughing at others' beliefs is one thing, but assuming that we need to fight them politically for eternity is silly.
There is compromise available- maximize individual liberty. Live and let live.
We don't need the government to declare things "legal" or "illegal," we need the government to leave us alone.
Fundies are funny from a distance, dangerous with government, and irrelevant in matters over which the government has no power.
Actually, Republicans today are kind of frighteningly liberal in terms of their foreign policy and fiscal policy. Well, the scope of their fiscal policies anyway, the breakdown of expenditure is still stereotypically conservative.
Ron Paul is a conservative American, and as such, while he has conservative personal views, he has a (relatively) progressive civil liberties stance. Which agrees with that I imagine the founding fathers as being. Downside: his foreign policy is apparently isolationist. I'm not even sure if we'd be upholding the Monroe doctrine.
Hillary is about as conservative as many republicans on the stump, and for all of his comments about how we don't want Bush III or "Bush lite" Obama doesn't really seem to be pissed about the damage that's being wrought to the basic rights laid out in the constitution and its amendments. Though he seems a damn bit more progressive than Hillary (if you're not gay, that is..).
So all in all, it's a smörgåsbord of "I'm not sure I wanna vote for that [gender not implied] guy!"
hahahahahahahahaa
Ron is a loon.
So, when is God going to start all this striking down? It's soon time for election again, and not a single little strike from heaven yet. One could almost presume that God was pleased with the way things are...
Confused?
