[...] its actually not hard to find Jesus, if it wouldn't be for satan, satan has an IQ of maybe 500+ and hes confusing humans to think bad thoughts about Jesus,

His IQ is 666, he has double super-duper infinite attack and defense, and his special move kills everybody twice!
I summon Satan, in Yu-Gi-Oh mockery mode!
*whirrr*

Er, I.Q. is your mental age divided by your physical age (times 100), there's no implicit maximum.
David B. that's not true, because mental age only goes up to 15 (and Binet, who discovered this, never liked the term 'mental age').
Therefore Stern's 1912 idea that IQ should be Binet's 'mental age' divided by chronological age was flawed for adults, because a normal 30-year-old would have half the IQ of a normal 15-year-old.
The Stanford-Binet intelligence 'quotient' and Wechsler Adult Intelligence Scale in use today aren't even true quotients (a quotient being one number divided by another), let alone having anything to do with mental age.
Actually, if Satan existed and was superhumanly cunning and insightful, what he'd probably do is set up some phoney-ass religions to spread confusion and doubt. One that you'd have to be pretty damn smart to see through.
So if we can just identify which religions are followed by large numbers of the astoundingly stupid, we'll be able to discard the Satan's distractions and discover the one true faith.
@Goosey:
It depends on your definition. In my EP course, mental age was the population average mental capacity for your age group, hence your mental age at 30, if you were average, would be 30, even if it was no better in absolute terms than when you were 15.
What this meant in practice is that individuals end up being graded against the average for your age group (addressing Binet's objections).
You are right that the quotient is no longer actually calculated, most of the time your adjusted score is used to read your IQ from a standard bell curve.
Two points, (a) the bell curve is similarly open-ended, hence there is still no maximum IQ (that a test has a maximum is a limitation of the test), and (b) none of this is a reliable indicator of anything other than how well you can answer particular IQ test questions.
@Davd B.
Well, that depends on your definition of 'mental capacity' as, like I said, Binet showed that his definition of mental capacity does not vary after the age of 15.
And while I sort-of agree that there may be no intrinsic limit to IQ in theory, the very fact that the tests are composed of a finite number of questions suggests that there is a limit in practice.
From the Mensa UK website:-
British Mensa uses two main tests to identify people's IQ scores, the Cattell III B and the Cattell Culture Fair III A.
A score which puts you in the top two per cent of the population on either of these papers would qualify you for membership of Mensa.
An adult can only get a maximum IQ of 161 on the Cattell III B test.
Yes, AFAICR most of our mental development is over by our mid-teens, and it's all over by fifty! After that it's downhill all the way.
Given that Satan was supposedly cast down around the fall of man, he's got to be at least 6000 years old! So taking the IQ we might expect of an average 6000 year-old and multiplying by 5, Satan would be as smart as a slightly sub-normal turnip.
I.e. more than a match for the average fundie.
All kidding about IQ tests aside, it's a distressingly common fundy argument that since Satan has the second greatest mind in the universe, you can't out-think him, so it's useless to think for yourself at all.

Yet they'll never admit that maybe they themselves might have been outthought and tricked into believing a lie, will they?
IQ testing is explicitly meant for people with about average IQs. Too many standard deviations up or down from 100, and it loses all accuracy. And could never be 500.
And why would a high intelligence give you mind control powers?
Fundie quiz:
You are God, the omiscient and omnipotent creator of the universe and all things in it. Your favorite creation, Man, can only inherit eternal happiness if they believe that your Son died to redeem their sins. However, another one of your creations, Satan, is doing his best to trick people into NOT believing in your Son.
Do you:
(A) Bestow on Man unambiguous knowledge about your Son, e.g. by spelling it out in giant Hebrew text in the Earth's sky for all time;
(B) Take Satan out of the picture by banishing him from the Earth or destroying him utterly; or
(C) Let satan run around freely tricking as many people as he wants.
Justify your answer with verses from the Old or New Testament.
Wow.
So in Genesis 3 Satan told the truth and God lied.
Now we find Satan has an IQ of over 500 and Jesus thinks there was a global flood, that 1/3 of stars in the sky will fall to Earth, that slavery is OK, that epilepsy is caused by demons, that disease is caused by sin, etc, etc, etc. Maybe Satan should've tempted Jesus with time share and lottery tickets instead of a discourse on paramount metaphysical existentialism.
Despite the facts that people with above normal IQs have been fooled by people dumber than them before.
And all I have to say is...
But God's IQ is over 9000!!!
The good news is that I found Jesus
The bad news is that the Jews found him first
Poor guy ain't gonna be doing any of his magic tricks for a while.
@FMG
But God's IQ is over 9000!!!
WHAT!? nine thousand!?
